The TiSa laser is a solid-state laser that uses the fluorescence of titanium ions
as an optically active medium, which are present as doping in a corundum (Al₂O₃) crystal.
The Ti:Sa laser is a tunable laser, whereby the wavelength is adjustable over a wide range.
The Ti: Sa crystal shows a very wide fluorescence band of 670-1070nm at a maximum of
							the intensity around 800nm.
The absorption range of the crystal is about 370-670nm, with a maximum of about 500nm.
For this purpose, the Ti:Sa lasers are optically pumped by a second laser,
usually a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser (532 nm) like the Sprout from Lighthouse Photonics.

The XUUS™ (eXtreme Ultraviolet Ultrafast Source) from KMLabs™ upconverts ultrafast
laser pulses into the EUV and soft X-ray regions (down to 2nm) of the spectrum.
The unique, fully engineered and integrated table-top unit is optimized for
							ultrafast spectroscopy and image processing.
The XUUS™ provides a complete source and integrated beamline solutions.
Applications in measurement technology to support EUV lithography, lensless
nanoimaging and pump-probe studies of magnetic, materials, molecular and nanosystems dynamics
with a time resolution as short as 20 attoseconds are covered by the XUUS™.
