Miniature stages are essential in positioning tasks where available space is limited. This includes mobile applications for measuring and medical devices, in industrial microassembly or use for research, e.g. in UHV and non-magnetic environments. Proprietary piezo motor technology allows for specific integrated solutions. High resolution even below nanometer can be achieved with all piezomotor solutions as the accuracy is only limited by the integrated sensor. They are self-locking with no energy consumption at rest and therefore ideal for set-and-forget applications. Drivers and motion controllers are available from rack models to the OEM module to the „intelligence on the chip“ to integrate. For other uses, stepper, DC or Voice Coil servo motors are available. The PILine^® Ultrasonic Piezomotors have compact Drives, are Fast and Self-Locking. Depending on the operating mode, travel distances over 2,000 km or a MTBF of 20.000 hours are achieved.

The Piezoelectric Inertia Drives of the Q-Motion^® Series has Nanometer Resolution, is Silent, Self-Locking and Cost-Effective. The PiezoWalk^® Piezo Motors are available in 3 variants. The PICMAWalk with a long lifetime and an outstanding reliability. The High-load walking drives NEXLINE^® with particularly high forces and the Precision walking drives NEXACT^® with compact drives at high velocities. The Voice Coil Actuators of the PIMAG^® Series are magnetic linear Drives of High Precision and Velocity. The DC- and Stepper Motors generally offer (DC Servo Motor) uniform, vibration-free operation, a large velocity range, and high torques at low velocity. Smoothly running 2-phase stepper motors have a very long service life and, compared to DC motors, are especially suited for applications with reduced dynamics and in a vacuum.
